Management Team

Mark Dailey
Chief Executive Officer

Vision without execution is a hallucination. CEO since 2015, Dailey understands that an industry leading vision is only as good and the results that are delivered. He currently serves on the board of OpenConnect and is a partner in Newport Board Group. With more than 30 years in senior leadership, Dailey held executive management positions for Intralinks, Inc., LexiQuest, Inc., and Medcast Networks. With deep experience in managing internationally aspirational, growth-stage information technology companies, Dailey has enabled clients to execute their vision by implementing current solutions that focus on time-to-value. Positioning early stage enterprise software and information companies to scale through process improvement and sales management, Dailey propels his clients—and the companies he leads—to operate at the highest, most efficient level. As one of the early employees at Bloomberg, Dailey spent 11 years in Asia opening operations in a dozen countries. Previously he served on three public and six private company boards and was lead director of a large non-profit.

Charles Brockenbush
Chief Financial Officer

Hard work and perseverance is a proven formula for success. Brockenbush specializes in keeping OpenConnect moving forward by ensuring it has the appropriate amount of financial capital and human capital to support its vision. Responsible for the completion of the company’s annual operating plan, Brockenbush oversees OpenConnect’s financial and administrative functions. Working with global organizations across industries including banking, insurance, manufacturing, transportation as well as state and local governments, Brockenbush manages customer contracts, delivering results on time to keep the momentum going. Previously, Brockenbush served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Blue Wave Systems, where during his tenure it became the industry’s largest independent developer of high-density DSP products.

Stuart Burris
Chief Technology Officer

A helicopter pilot when he’s not in the office, Burris helps OpenConnect navigate its technology vision and strategy. He also works with client leadership teams to build innovative solutions that deliver ROI and cost reductions. With his 30+ year tenure at OpenConnect, he has held a variety of research and product development roles, most recently as Vice President of Research and Development. Burris is instrumental in the development of the architecture for the company’s industry-leading products used by thousands of companies worldwide. Prior to joining OpenConnect, Burris served as Vice President of Technical Services for Smartech Systems, Inc. and held development positions, including Vice President of Research and Development at Mtech.

Michael Cupps
Senior Vice President – Sales, Marketing and Channels

It’s not where you stand, but what direction you are going. This lesson learned early on in life rings true today in the approach Cupps takes with his clients. Helping businesses identify the right solution to their unique challenges, Cupps uses OpenConnect solutions, partners and services to navigate the right path. Focusing on Fortune 1000 and healthcare companies, primarily operations and IT, Cupps enables clients to improve operational efficiency through analytics or robotics. His 20+ years of experience in the technology sector is complemented by his expertise in portals, content management and business process management. In the next five years, Cupps strives to develop a global, diverse customer base by utilizing data insights to move from simple automation to AI driven transformations.

Kip Brewer
Vice President – Customer Support and Quality Assurance

How you leave something is just as important as how you begin something. This thought process is the foundation of Brewer’s approach with clients. Whether their need is a deployment, upgrade or risk management solution, he focuses on producing quality software that delivers business benefit. With cross industry experience, Brewer positions clients in healthcare, banking, automotive and government services to achieve their highest business value.

Anna Wilson

Leading the team of Professional Services Architects, Wilson’s success comes from understanding the client’s business goals for today as well as setting them up for future success. She specializes in building a strategic and nimble architecture that can advance and expand with the company’s unique opportunities.
